2018

We are 70 years! Normfest has stood for quality and service since 1948. We look forward to the next 70 years our customers.

An era comes to an end: After 33 years as managing director of Normfest, we passed Bernhard Windrich's well-deserved retirementat the end og June this year.

Once again, the Normfest online shop is one of the best in germany. At the Internet World Business Shop Award 2018, Normfest takes the third place in the category „Best B2B-Shop“

2017

We have launched a completely newonline shop (www.normfest-shop.de). In addition to numerous new features, our customers are now individually and personally welcomed by our competent seller when entering the online store.

2016

We are the winner of the INTERNET WORLD Business Shop-Award 2016! Our Normfest shop defeated 281 other applicants and won 1st prize in the category of Best B-to-B Shop at the end of February 2016.

The Normfest management has grown: Since September 2016 Stefan Seibold and Enver Zolj complete the team around Bernhard Windrich and Edu Kohn.

2015

Since October 2015, we have been receiving more and more questions, messages and orders from our customers through our WhatsApp service. All they have to do is send us a message from their smartphone and our assistant Nora answers them as quickly as possible.

2014

Now you can geht the Normfest Shop for the pocket. By app for free you can geht all Normfest products and supports on your smartphone.

2013

Normfest expands its international activities through external specialist trade partners in the following countries: Macedonia, Russia, Israel, Georgia and Turkey.

2012

Normfest begins cooperation with FIME Italy.

2010

The Normfest Academy for in-house further education programmes is launched.
Normfest now also offers its products via telesales.

2008

Normfest begins cooperation with Reca Bosnia d.o.o.

2007

The Normfest online shop is launched at www.normfest-shop.com.

2006

Normfest begins cooperation with Reca Croatia.

2005

Normfest begins cooperation with Euro Car Parts Limited in Great Britain and Reca Slovakia.

2004

Normfest celebrates the opening of its new international logistics centre including training rooms. We also begin cooperation with Kellner & Kunz in Austria.

2002

Normfest founds Codesi, a company specialised in corporate identity and advertising concepts specifically for motor vehicle customers.

2001

Normfest Czech Republic is founded.

1999

Normfest Poland is founded. We also begin sales activities in Luxembourg.

1995

Normfest founds dress&safe, a company specialised in safety shoes and safety garments.

1990

Normfest relocates and expands with a newly constructed location in Velbert.

1981

Normfest becomes a subsidiary of the globally active Würth Group in order to save the business, which had been suffering. We are also integrated into the financially solid Reca Group in order to secure the company’s long-term growth.

1968

Normfest begins cooperation with the Hamburg-based Techno Group (one of the most important purchasing associations in the automotive sector).

50er Jahre

The Sommerfelds focus on the booming motor vehicle market as their original business.

1948

Spouses Willi and Emmy Sommerfeld found Normfest, a trading company for all kinds of DIN and standard parts in Essen.
